Fans of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey can now play the third and final entry of the Legacy of the First Blade DLC. The episodic trilogy, set after the events of the main game, largely centers on Cassandra or Alexios’ encounter with the first wielder of the Order’s iconic hidden blade. The saga began with episode 1, Hunted, back in December and continued with the second chapter, Shadow Heritage, in January. Legacy of the First Blade marks just one piece of what Ubisoft calls its biggest post-launch roadmap for an Assassin’s Creed game to date....

It is always interesting to see the OEMs not forgetting to roll Android OS updates for their older devices. Yes, we are talking about the usual delayed Android Pie updates. Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo say they currently do not have plans to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The brothers have been integral players in the franchise since 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, following that up with Captain America: Civil War and the one-two punch of Infinity War and Endgame. Many Marvel fans consider their installments to be among the best in the series, as they increasingly got more ambitious and grand in scope....

Avengers: Endgame includes a cleverly hidden Easter egg related to the backstory of Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson) and her background as a ballet dancer. Black Widow’s origin story has factored into her arc in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and while it has minimal importance to the plot of Endgame, the movie does feature a reference to Natasha’s early life. Arrow has retconned the Anti-Monitor as the cosmic being who founded the League of Assassins. The League of Assassins have been one of the most dangerous recurring threats in Arrow, an ancient guild who have killed thousands over the centuries. Arrow season 8, episode 3 saw Oliver Queen investigate the ancient history of the League of Assassins. He learned that they were created back in 1013AD, when a cosmic being approached a man named Al-Fatih....

In an effort to push its new DirecTV Now service, AT&T is preparing to offer customers a free Apple TV (or Fire TV stick) when they sign up, according to a new report form Variety. The report cites leaked customer support documents from AT&T, which were inadvertently published online today. According to today’s report, AT&T plans to offer customers a free Apple TV when they agree to subscribe to three months of paid service....

iFixit points at a Chipworks analysis of the iPhone 4’s voice processor that powers the noise cancellation feature which improves call quality by suppressing background noise while boosting the caller’s voice. It’s an Audience-branded silicon, as denoted by the Audience marking innocuously placed inside the chip itself. The Chipworks team has figured this out by X-Raying the chip, as always. The finding put to rest speculation whether Apple had invented their voice processor or licensed third-party tech....

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission today has filed a federal lawsuit against Apple. The lawsuit targets Apple’s stringent repair and warranty process, specifically mentioning the infamous Error 53 bug that plagued numerous users last year… In the lawsuit, the ACCC explains that Apple rendered a multitude of consumer devices completely useless via software update last February. As we reported at the time, the Error 53 fiasco was centered around devices that had Touch ID module or screen repairs by an unauthorized third-party, thus causing the device to fail Apple’s security checks....

The Arrowverse has come a long way in the last 8 years since Arrow helped kick-off the massive TV universe on the CW. What has become important to the shared universe every year though is the annual crossovers. Like it does with the iOS Personal Hotspot feature, U.S. carrier AT&T appears set to control and charge for the iOS 6 FaceTime over Cellular feature. This iOS 6 enhancement brings the formally WiFi only iOS device video calling feature into a more useful state, letting people use the feature practically anywhere they may be. AT&T provided us with the following statement: We attempted to bring up the same same error message when enabling the FaceTime over Cellular feature on a Verizon iPad WiFi + Cellular, but the feature enabled without an issue....

AT&T just announced in a flurry of press releases that it expanded 4G data network coverage to customers in nine new cities. It further revealed over 40 more LTE markets will light up by the end of 2012. Today’s news comes just a week before the launch of an LTE iPhone, which will surely spotlight the coverage differences between the leading U.S. carriers. AT&T only has 53 LTE markets, while Verizon, for instance, boasts 337 LTE markets....

There’s no when and where yet, but fact is that The Daily has seen prototypes of two Asus netbooks running Windows 8, and both of them had a series of sensors on top of the screen, in the normal location of the camera. They also had LEDs under the display. The website has confirmed with a source at Microsoft that the devices were laptops that featured a Kinect sensor. I can only imagine the possibilities this would open in the mobile computing environment....
