Now Reddit users are upping the speculation by pointing to a redirect on the company’s website. Reddit user samuhlarik10 noticed that www.apple.com/displays/ redirects to www.apple.com/mac/, and a second user noted that Apple had used a 301 rather than a 302 code to perform the redirect....

Following the launch of T-Mobile’s new “Uncarrier” strategy alongside the $99 iPhone 5 and new no subsidy pricing plans last month, today the Washington State Attorney General has ordered T-Mobile to change its advertising calling its promise to offer no annual contracts “deceptive”. AT&T and IBM launched the collaboration in late 2020 and have since opened up co-innovation sites at two other locations. IBM Yorktown, the headquarters for IBM Research, is now enabled with AT&T 5G, enabling customers to work with researchers, designers and consultants from both companies. AT&T and IBM are also co-innovating at the AT&T 5G Innovation Studio in Plano, Texas to apply AI and machine learning for network insights. “One of the challenges that enterprises have to face when you think about 5G, cloud and edge computing is that it’s accelerating pretty fast,” William Stovall, AT&T’s VP of mobility & IoT, said to ZDNet....

Apple has announced that it has begun construction of its new Austin, Texas, campus, on the day that President Trump is due to tour the Mac Pro production line a short distance away. The current Mac Pro facility measures 244,000 square feet and employs around 500 people, while the new campus will be very much larger… Apple says the new facility will also have substantial capacity for further expansion. Some local residents had been upset that Apple was chopping down trees to make room for the Austin, Texas, campus....

A scene in The Avengers provides further evidence that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) was actually being mind-controlled when he engineered the Chitauri invasion and what has been dubbed as the Battle of New York. Loki was the superhero team’s first villain, but he ultimately become somewhat of a hero towards the end of his life. But now, it’s possible that he wasn’t truly the villain people thought he was. Following his defeat in Thor, Loki makes an arrangement with Thanos to lead an army of Chitauri to Earth....

Netflix dropped the official trailer for the second half of Arrested Development’s fifth season. After years of rumors about the show being adapted into a movie after it was canceled in 2003, it was finally resurrected for a fourth season by Netflix in 2013. The fifth season was then split, with 8 episodes released last May, and another 8 set to drop in mid-March. The first official images and plot details revealed by Netflix earlier this month set up some important clues about what fans of the Bluth family can expect to see in their next round of cringeworthy mishaps....

Epic Games has announced that it has acquired artist portfolio and sales site ArtStation, for an undisclosed fee. In a move likely designed to strengthen its antitrust case against Apple, Epic has told artists that it is reducing its standard commission from 30% to 12%. The two companies made a joint announcement. Epic went into more detail on the commissions structure in a separate blog post.
