With most museums and art galleries now closed, ART Museum – or Augmented Reality Art Museum – lets you hang AR versions of paintings on the walls of your home … The app is currently limited to paintings from six museums, but this includes famous (and arguably topical) ones like The Scream by Edward Munch, and the developer is working on signing up other museums and galleries. “In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the widespread closures of museums across the world, the necessity of creating an alternative, remote way to experience art and culture has never been greater,” said Brendan Ciecko, CEO & Founder of Cuseum....

The Reddit user claimed that their first-generation August Doorbell Camera appeared in the Home app on iOS without any action on their part. While the Doorbell Cam appeared like normal HomeKit cameras, it lacked features such as live view and two-way audio. Still, this led many to speculate that HomeKit support was imminent. In a statement this weekend, however, August is refuting the Reddit post and says that integration seen by the user is due to the popular third-party HomeKit platform called Homebridge....

The vast majority of the apps removed were games, with only 74 of the top 1,500 paid games surviving the cull… Background A Chinese law requiring developers to obtain a government license to publish apps was introduced in 2016. Foreign developers in particular subsequently said that it was extremely difficult to obtain a license....

Australian airline Qantas previously announced it is dropping BlackBerry in favor of Apple’s iPhone and issuing iPads to pilots, but now it is rolling out iPads to passengers to compliment a new in-flight entertainment streaming service. Qantas is abandoning RIM due to a recently conducted employee survey that indicated airline staffers prefer Apple’s smartphone offering. CIO Paul Jones told The Sydney Morning Herald that the iPhone offers a “user-friendly interface and simple access to emails, contacts and calendars, as well as meeting all Qantas’ security requirements....

Avengers: Endgame included a cool Iron Man 3 cameo during Tony Stark’s funeral, but the moment also highlights a major issue with the MCU. Many fans were wondering who the seemingly random teenager at Tony Stark’s wedding was, and it turns out it was the actor Ty Simpkins, reprising his role as Harley from Iron Man 3. In Iron Man 3, Tony Stark was suffering from PTSD after the battle of New York in The Avengers, and obsessed with finding a way to keep the world safe from another invasion....

The team behind Avengers: Endgame shot an alternate sequence for Black Widow’s death where Hawkeye dies instead. Avengers: Endgame became the highest-grossing movie of all time earlier this year and continues to be one of the most talked about movies months after its release. Capping off the Infinity Saga, it helped bring the MCU’s Phase Three to a close while sending off some of the heroes who have been a part of the franchise since the beginning....

As a pitch-perfect satire of both wealthy socialites and negligent mothers, Lucille Bluth is one of the funniest characters to ever hit the small screen. She could even lay claim to the title of most hilarious character on Arrested Development, and there are a lot of hilarious characters on Arrested Development. She’s definitely the most savage. Thanks to her sharp wit and acid tongue, Lucille always has the perfect quip or comeback or insult – whatever is required to come out on top in a given situation....

Disney has announced that a new Star Wars movie will release on December 16, 2022, putting it on a direct collision course with Warner Bros.’ planned DC sequel, Aquaman 2. While the first solo adventure featuring Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry was unquestionably a success, grossing more than $1 billion worldwide, it’s basically inevitable that Warner Bros. will change Aquaman 2’s release date in response to Disney’s Star Wars announcement.
