Avengers: Endgame screenwriters recently gave their take on why one major character’s sacrifice in the blockbuster film was appropriate, which was something many fans complained about after leaving the theater. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely were allowed to conclude the arcs of the six main Avengers as they wished, which led to the highly successful Avengers: Infinity War and its even more impressive sequel, but some of those conclusions were not as well-received as others....

In less than a month, MCU’s Phase 3 capper will finally hit theaters, revealing the fate of the franchise following the decimation of half of population in the universe in Avengers: Infinity War. But despite the movie’s release slowly inching its way, some fans continue to come up with their own speculations on how the story will pan out, with possibly one of the weirdest theories recently making the rounds online....

In 2014, audiences were introduced to Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot, immediately falling in love with the hitherto unknown heroes. When the team returns in May with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, they’re going to look a little different; not only is Groot now in baby form, but the group’s numbers are bolstered by Mantis, Nebula and Yondu....

The flagship series ended tonight after an impressive eight-season run that kicked off the namesake Arrowverse. After the show’s exciting conclusion, it leaves behind four other shows: The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. Additionally, fellow CW show Black Lightning is now also a member of the Arrowverse, thanks to the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths....

Arrow star Stephen Amell shared his struggles with anxiety-induced panic attacks after literally suffering through one while recording a podcast. After eight successful seasons, the Arrow star announced last year that he wanted to leave the show, ending the series, to spend more time with his family. With the final episode set to air next week, the CW star sat down to discuss his conflicted feelings over the show ending, and the pressure he was under playing the show’s titular character....

Australia’s three biggest banks are claiming that Apple is in breach of antitrust laws by not allowing third-party mobile payment apps to use the NFC chip used by Apple Pay for contactless payment. Reuters reports that the banks have initially requested permission from regulators to jointly negotiate with Apple – ironically, because they might themselves be in breach of antitrust laws if they clubbed together to negotiate without clearance to do so …...

Arlo is set to expand its smart home lineup with a new Arlo Video Doorbell. The existence of this doorbell was first reported back in April, and now a new press image has leaked ahead of its release thanks to ZatzNotFunny. The Arlo Video Doorbell can be seen above with a tall and narrow form factor housing a button alongside the camera. The camera itself is said to support Full HD video with a wide field-of-view and two-way audio conversation....

Many would be stunned to learn that there’s a secret connection between the television series Arrow and the music of Bruce Springsteen, beyond both The Boss and Oliver Queen sharing a love of social justice. Yet there is a tradition which binds the two shows, with the penultimate episode of every season of Arrow taking its name from a classic Bruce Springsteen song. If you’re on one of AT&T’s older Mobile Share Value data plans, a price hike is on the way. The Verge reports today that AT&T is emailing customers to inform them that prices are increasing by $10 – but that the plans are also adding 15GB of “bonus data.” The email from AT&T simply says: “We’ve added 15GB of data to your plan and increased your monthly rate by $10.” The carrier is seemingly trying to spin this off as a data bonus, but as we’ve come to learn, nothing in life is free – especially from AT&T....

Denso says that its technologies are used in “almost all vehicles around the globe.” Clients include Toyota, Honda, General Motors, and Ford. Nickelodeon’s The Legend of Korra is a continuation of the pan-Asian inspired Avatar: The Last Airbender, featuring a whole new cast of (older) characters and a turn-of-the-century steampunk style to compliment the franchise’s fantasy elements. The show features all sorts of stunning new locations, from the New York City-inspired Republic City to a new air temple to new vistas of the Spirit World and the all-metal city of Zaofu. But characters and settings like these don’t come out of nowhere....

Aquaman star Amber Heard shows off the comics she’s reading to prepare for her role as Mera in James Wan’s DCEU entry. As it stands, the sole focus of the DCEU next year will be Aquaman. Though the film has been pushed back twice already, it’s still set to roll into theaters by the end of 2018 and follow-up Arthur Curry’s adventures from Justice League. Warner Bros. is bringing Aquaman co-writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick back to write the script for Aquaman 2. Although there was plenty of hope that Jason Momoa’s solo Aquaman movie would be a hit, no one was quite expecting the results it received. Favorable reviews helped propel the jam-packed DC blockbuster to becoming the highest-grossing DC film of all time. Aquaman’s box office total is now over $1.1 billion worldwide, so it’s no surprise that there has been chatter for the last few weeks that the studios were moving forward with plans to develop a sequel....

Oliver Queen’s ending in Arrow is what actor Stephen Amell pitched. After seven years, Arrow is coming to a close with season 8. It will be a big part of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Oliver Queen has undergone a lot of development over the course of Arrow.
