A new supercut of the first Avengers: Endgame teaser trailer and the recent Super Bowl spot sheds a little more light on what fans can expect when the movie releases this year. The saga of the Apple Watch in Major League Baseball continues this week. During the NL Wild Card game on Wednesday, cameras captured Diamondbacks coach Ariel Prieto wearing an “illegal electronic device in the dugout,” which turned out to be an Apple Watch. MLB then launched an investigation, as noted by CBS Sports. The Diamondbacks said shortly thereafter that it was simply a mistake on Prieto’s part as he just forgot to take off the Apple Watch before the game began....

Arlo has created a new app for its smart home products that distances itself from parent company, Netgear. However, users are already frustrated that the new software lacks an Apple TV app like the legacy app did. Arlo rolled out its new app today and is alerting users to move from the legacy app to the current release before it’s shut down later this month. The legacy app was listed by Arlo’s parent company Netgear....

After originally being announced in May, group video and audio calling is now live in the latest versions of WhatsApp for iOS and Android. AT&T’s president and chief executive John Stankey made some interesting 4G LTE-related announcements this morning at the Barclays Capital Global Communications, Media and Technology Conference. The carrier will roll out fourth-generation LTE technology in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, he promised. Ten additional markets in the US will get LTE by the end of the year, with the ultimate goal of reacing 70 million Americans with LTE by year’s end....

That’s what the Washington Post is claiming, citing industry sources “close to the thinking of AT&T executives” (which we hope doesn’t mean psychiatrists or seers) who are making these claims. If these claims are true then it’s possible we’ll be hearing news of support for the VoIP services over AT&T’s network as soon as Wednesday, when the carrier is expected to make some kind of splash at the CTIA Conference....

Minister for Science and Technology Melissa Price said development of the Space Strategic Update comes off the back of industry feedback that Australia needs better alignment efforts in the space sector. “Through the Space Strategic Update, we will maximise investment and efforts to deliver for all Australians,” she said. The Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) just made his first move against Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) on Arrow. All season, the Anti-Monitor has been an unseen antagonist for the heroes of the Arrowverse. Though he’s confirmed to be the villain of “Crisis on Infinite Earths”, the Arrowverse shows have thus far avoided mentioning him directly. The 6th annual Arrowverse crossover event brings together Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow for a five-part event based on the 1985-1986 comic book miniseries, Crisis on Infinite Earths....

AT&T and T-Mobile recently announced they would start to share a combined database of stolen mobile devices that aspires to discourage theft and shield customers. All the major carriers, through their wireless association CTIA and the Federal Communications Commission, first revealed plans in April to merge their respective databases, but AT&T and T-Mobile were the first to do so yesterday. CNET specifically elaborated on how the joint database works: Sprint and Verizon are expected join the initiative by November 2013....
