With most heroes teaming up on a constant basis to fight for the greater good, we some heroes click right away and others take some time to open up to each other. While some heroes hit it off right away, others can’t stand each other and would much rather prefer to work alone rather than teaming up....

Picnic regulations in New South Wales have been loosened for fully vaccinated people. As a “thank you” for their role in the jab rollout, fully vaccinated Sydney citizens can drink alcohol in the park in three select areas. In 18 parks on the outskirts of Sydney Olympic Park, Rocks, and Darling Harbor, the New South Wales government has loosened drinking restrictions. People who have been double-jabbed and live within a 5-km radius of the parks – or in the same LGA – will be permitted to enjoy an alcoholic beverage outdoors....

Earlier this year, James Cameron’s Avatar was topped as the highest-grossing movie of all time by Marvel’s big finale, Avengers: Endgame. Avatar 2 has been in development for years, but it’s finally on the way – well into production with its cast in place – for a 2021 release....

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been teasing his involvement with the DC Extended Universe for many months now, even promising to bring about a “new era” for the DCEU as it supposedly undergoes a tonal shift away from the dark and brooding aspects that have made up a majority of the DC film properties. The actor will take up the mantle of anti-hero Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam! adaptation, which is still set to hit theaters in 2019....

One of the most excitingly creepy shows to watch as a kid was Nickelodeon’s Are You Afraid of the Dark?, one of the network’s stand-out live-action shows of the ’90s. There was just something thrilling about staying up late with your friends, grabbing some popcorn, and gathering over the glowing TV set to check out the latest episode, knowing you were in for a crazy and eerie virtual ride. Much like a Nick version of The Twilight Zone meets Tales from the Crypt, this spooky kids show contained a myriad of other-worldly plots and creepy manifestations....

2012 was an important year for The CW when they debuted Arrow. Through this series came an entire franchise of DC TV shows that is now known as the Arrowverse but after almost eight years of protecting Star City, the Oliver Queen drama is set to end in January 2020. Set for an eighth and final season Oliver and his team have one last mission that will involve the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover as well....

ASUS unveiled its Padfone 2 in Milan, Italy. The concept is the same — an Android smartphone with a dockable tablet, but the specs are much better. The screen of the smartphone is 720p IPS at 720 x 1280 pixels, which is a higher resolution display than the first Padfone which was 540 x 960. The screen of the tablet station is still 10.1 inches with 1280 x 800 resolution....

Avengers: Endgame passes Avatar to become the second highest-grossing film all-time at the domestic box office. At this point, there’s little to add to the conversation about Endgame’s unprecedented commercial run, during which the film shattered numerous box office records and posted figures that were at one point thought to be unfathomable. It’s rare for a highly-anticipated blockbuster such as this to exceed expectations, but that’s precisely what happened and Endgame has been climbing up the charts ever since its incredible debut....

Touch ID on the iPhone 8 has been one of the biggest points of contention thus far. While it was initially believed that the fingerprint technology would be embedded beneath the display itself, more recent reports have said that Apple was unable to achieve such a feat and Touch ID might be replaced with Face ID altogether, a move that has been met with some skepticism… Thanks to the HomePod firmware that Apple released last week, however, we’ve learned a bit more about Apple’s upcoming facial recognition technology....
