Warning: This article contains SPOILERS for Avengers: Endgame.

Chris Evans, Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth pose for the camera in a new Avengers: Endgame behind-the-scenes image. Playing Steve Rogers/Captain America, Peter Quill/Star-Lord and Thor, much has been said about the MCU’s abundance of Chrises. And thanks to the latest Marvel film, fans are now treated with an adorable photo featuring all three of them.

Pratt has been largely separated from the other Chrises, being the only one from the line-up who’s not officially a member of the Avengers. Instead, Quill has spent his time in the cosmos, being a prominent part of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The two premiere MCU hero team-ups hadn’t met until last year’s Avengers: Infinity War, with the rag-tag galactic heroes unexpectedly encountering Thor. Sadly, because of the split team-ups, Star-Lord wasn’t able to meet Captain America, who spent his time primarily in Wakanda. But with Endgame bringing together all pockets of the MCU as they banded together to defeat Thanos and his army, all three have finally united, and while Avengers 4 didn’t really show anything significant regarding their encounters with each other, the important thing is they now all know each other.

Thanks to Sean Gunn, who not only plays Kraglin in the MCU, but also provides the mo-cap performance for Rocket Raccoon, comes a brand new image from the set of Endgame with Evans, Pratt and Hemsworth on location and all in their respective looks for the film. Putting a spin on the Marry, Kill and Bed game, Gunn captioned the photo with his personal preference, picking Evans to marry, Hemsworth to spoon, and go catfish noodling with Pratt which earned countless laughs in the comments section. Check out the image below:

From the looks of it, this photo was taken during the filming of Tony Stark’s funeral, which gathered all major characters in the franchise to pay homage to the hero who sacrificed his life for the greater good. While Cap is wearing a suit and tie - appropriate for the occasion, fans can notice that Star-Lord also tried cleaning up for the event, wearing a proper shirt underneath his vest - a nice touch that many may have missed while watching the movie. Meanwhile, Hemsworth was wearing a simple tank top and still out of Thor’s suit, but he’s rocking the God of Thunder’s longer and messier hair-do, as well as his bushier beard. Considering that this was the particular scene in the film where stars actually had to be on location, one could only imagine what the set looked like with all the celebrities roaming around and mingling with each other as they waited to roll the cameras.

Moving forward, there’s little chance that all three Chrises and their characters come together again like this. While Avengers: Endgame didn’t see the death of Captain America, the film effectively writes him out of the narrative, with Rogers passing the mantle to Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie). Of course, there’s still a possibility that he returns from time to time, but it’s not going to be immediate. The situation is different for Pratt and Hemsworth, however, with Thor finally joining the Guardians of the Galaxy - a great move considering the trajectory of Odinson’s character following Thor: Ragnarok. Fans have also seen the chemistry between the two and the rest of the galactic heroes, reinforcing the idea. But if Marvel Studios ever throws in Cap with the team down the road, it’s safe to say that no one will be opposed to that idea.
