The main cast of Avengers: Endgame will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live every night throughout this week. The press tour for the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame has officially begun, with the cast and crew holding a press conference this week, and some cast members already appearing in some interviews.

With the press tour come a bunch of appearances on TV shows, podcasts, and online media, giving fans a chance to know more about the story (but not too much) and get to know the cast a bit more. It’s also a good opportunity for the cast to let loose and have fun, as not every appearance or interview has to be serious business. Such is the case with late night shows, and there’s one that has become a must for superhero film cast appearances.

Jimmy Kimmel Live will welcome the cast of Avengers: Endgame all week, beginning today with a reading about the events of Avengers: Infinity War, titled “Twas The Mad Titan Thanos”, by Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Evans. The show will feature cast members from the film each night, so don’t worry if your favourite doesn’t show up today, they will eventually.

Of course, that’s only for the heroes that survived Thanos’ snap in Infinity War. While some heroes such as Spider-Man are confirmed to come back, those who vanished are not taking part in the press tour, with the crew even leaving empty seats for them at the press conference. If you were hoping for Tom Holland to let some details slip during the press tour, that will not happen.

Avengers: Endgame will be the epic conclusion to the narrative that has been building up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man, back in 2008. Plot details remain unknown, but there are a bunch of theories floating around on how the fallen superheroes will come back, how the surviving ones will make that happen, and what the future of the original Avengers will be. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has teased that the ending of Endgame is unlike anything we have seen before, with directors Joe and Anthony Russo hyping the epic conclusion to this shared universe.

Taking into account Marvel’s now legendary level of secrecy, we can’t expect the cast and crew to start dropping details on the plot during the press tour, but we can surely expect some fun moments and features with their many appearances these coming weeks, especially this week-long visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live. Who knows, they could even share one more look at Avengers: Endgame in the shape of a TV spot or short scene.
