Avengers: Endgame’s iconic portals scene is recreated in a couple of TikTok videos. It’s been more than five months after the Joe and Anthony Russo-directed flick hit theaters, ending the MCU’s The Infinity Saga narrative arc. Despite this, it remains in the mainstream consciousness. Case in point are the few videos parodying one of the movie’s most memorable bits in a hilarious, yet very impressive way.

Set up by the massive cliffhanger of an ending in Avengers: Infinity War, Endgame was dubbed as the most anticipated movie of the year. Disney and Marvel Studios’ tight clamp on security to prevent any spoiler leaks as evidenced in its measured marketing campaign only kept the public more anticipative of the flick. Even after weeks since it was released, fans were careful about what they can openly discuss on social media regarding Endgame so as not to risk ruining the experience of watching it for those who hadn’t seen it. But with the ample time passing since it first rolled out in cinemas, the public is now discussing it with no-holds-barred, some even recreating a few of its most iconic moments.

Social media website TikTok has been where fans have been sharing short-form mobile videos, and a couple of its most eye-catching ones are users attempting to remake Endgame’s portal scene where all heroes band together in preparation for their all-out battle against Thanos (Josh Brolin) and his minions. Two of the most viewed ones are from dannielgoodfellow (via em on Twitter), who tapped the help of his teammates from the British Olympic diving team for his video, and Luketodd62 who also created his clip with the help of his mates. Watch them below:

Obviously, both videos aren’t exact recreation of what was in Endgame considering that there were a string of other characters involved in that scene. But both creators included some of the more prominent heroes from the franchise, it’s just a shame that there’s not a woman involved to take the role of the MCU’s notable superheroines. Nevertheless, between the commitment to their respective roles and the rousing Avengers theme from Alan Silvestri, both clips take fans back to that moment when they first saw the original scene play out on the big screen.

While Avengers: Endgame isn’t a perfect film, its impact in pop culture is arguably unparalleled. Between the film serving as the culmination of everything that transpired in the MCU for the last 11 years and and a send-off for some of the universe’s most beloved characters,  the movie was an emotional roller coaster for its fans. Given this, it’s safe to say that it will continue to be a favorite topic of conversation among fans for years to come.
