AT&T LG Stylo 5+ – Device Overview

The LG Stylo 5+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. It is paired with 3GB of RAM and offers 32GB of onboard storage. The display on the phone is a 6.2″ FHD+ TFT Display, 2160 x 1080 pixels. The device runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and currently sits with Android 10 LG UX 9.0. There is a single 16MP camera at the back and it records 1080p@30fps while there is an 8MP sensor for selfies that is capable of recording 1080p videos.

Talk about camera features, it has Portrait mode (front-facing camera only), food mode (rear-facing camera only), panorama, flash jump-cut, guide shot, grid shot, snapshot, beauty shot, auto shot, gesture shot, burst shot, timer, smart rear key, AE/AF lock, quick editor. Under the hood, the phone is juiced by a 3500 mAh battery and there is a fingerprint scanner as well.

  • One-handed screen: Lower the screen for use in one hand by swiping in from the left/right edge of the screen and holding.

  • Camera

  • Modes: Auto mode has been separated into Photo and Video modes. In Video mode, you can see a preview of the scene before recording.

  • Switch camera button: The button has been moved from the top of the screen to the bottom to make it within a thumb’s reach on one hand.

  • Zoom wheel: Drag the angle icon to interactively control angle and zoom with one hand.

  • Call-ended screens: Buttons have been rearranged.

  • Voice call: You can make a video call to the same number when the voice call ends.

  • Share via Messaging: When you share a file via Messaging from other apps such as Gallery, you can select an existing conversation to share instead of having to enter the recipient every time.

  • Draw chat: Draw and send a quick animated message. This can be used in any communication apps that can attach a GIF file.

  • Settings

  • Settings: First-depth menus change. “Privacy” and “Digital Wellbeing & parental controls” have been added, and “Location” moved up to the 1st depth from under “Lock screen & Security.”

  • Wi-Fi settings, Bluetooth® settings: Step-by-step tutorial has been removed as the technologies are now familiar.

  • Quick settings: File sharing, which was located on the bottom of the panel, has been changed to a usual Quick setting icon.

  • Volume panel: You can adjust the media volume on an app-by-app basis.
