Asus ZenFone Max Shot or Max Plus M2 (ZB634KL) has launched a couple of months ago this year. The device has recently received an update via FOTA with an updated security patch. It also brings HDR mode and wide-angle camera option with improved camera performance. Asus always provides the firmware update via FOTA to the devices globally in incremental mode. Therefore it may take some time to roll out completely. If you’ve not received the OTA update yet, then you can check the software update manually from the device.

Android Q Release Date: Expected
Google has announced Android Q this year as a developer beta. the stable update will release within a couple of months from now. Currently, the Pixel series, Essential and 15 other device models eligible to receive the Android Q Beta update. But it’s in beta stage and may contain bugs. Asus didn’t announce any upcoming update for Asus Zenfone Max Shot device right now. However, the device launched just a few months ago and it’s just received Android Pie update.
Therefore, we can expect the Android Q update on Zenfone Max Shot later this year as a beta version at first. Then the company may release an official stable version. We will keep update about it.
