The Arrowverse’s upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover is already shaping up to be an exciting event, now with an impressive spoiler warning. Crisis on Infinite Earths, which was first teased during last season’s Elseworlds event, will involve characters from every DC show on The CW, including Black Lightning for the first time. It will consist of 5 episodes, with 3 in December of this year and 2 in January 2020. It will also come near the end of flagship series Arrow’s 10 episode final season, with some speculating that title hero Oliver Queen may die during the crossover.

Crisis on Infinite Earths will not only be the Arrowverse’s biggest crossover so far, it will also feature the returns of several notable guest stars. Last week, it was announced that The Flash favorite John Wesley Shipp will play a role. In addition to playing Barry Allen in the 1990 version of the show, Shipp has played Henry Allen, Jay Garrick, and Earth-90’s Flash on The CW. He appeared in Elseworlds as well. Additionally, Jon Cryer (Lex Luthor), Tyler Hoechlin (Superman), and LaMonica Garrett (The Anti-Monitor and Monitor) will all return. The crossover will also give fans a different look at Legends of Tomorrow’s Brandon Routh, as he’ll play both Ray Palmer and another version of Superman.

With so much on the line during Crisis on Infinite Earths, it’s no surprise that those involved with the crossover want to prevent as many spoilers as possible. However, Arrow star Stephen Amell took to Twitter to share just how seriously potential leaks are being taken. In a photo, Amell gave fans a look at the 5 scripts for the crossover, though he made sure to only show the memo on the front page. On each of them can be seen a watermark with Amell’s name, as well as a warning not to share the contents of the scripts with anyone else. The memos also tells readers not to leave the scripts out anywhere, with the one for Batwoman even suggesting shredding it after use. Check out Amell’s photo below:

This isn’t the first time Amell has discussed his reaction to the plot of Crisis on Infinite Earths; earlier this month, he told fans he’d read the synopsis for the crossover. Posting again on Twitter, he said, “Read the synopsis of Crisis on Infinite Earths today. Holy f-cking sh-t.” Though the Arrowverse crossovers always have many twists and turns, all signs point to this one having even more than usual, especially since it will be Arrow’s last. In the original Crisis on Infinite Earth’s comic, the stakes were incredibly high, with many characters dying. These include Lex Luthor, Green Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. Though it’s unlikely that all of these characters will die for real (especially The Flash and Supergirl), it’s possible that some version of them could.

With how eager fans are for Crisis on Infinite Earths and how many months are left before it airs, it makes sense that those involved are being particularly careful about spoilers. This crossover is the closest the Arrowverse will get to an Avengers: Endgame like level of excitement. A huge part of that is letting fans go into the episodes with as few spoilers as possible. Additionally, since viewers already know about many of the guest stars appearing in the crossover, it makes sense that they want to leave a few surprises for when Crisis on Infinite Earths actually airs. Until then, hopefully fans can continue to enjoy Amell’s Twitter teases.
