Here’s how to stream every previously released Fast and Furious installment ahead of the ninth film, F9, in May 2020 and the untitled tenth installment in April 2021. The franchise, now officially called “The Fast Saga,” kicked off with The Fast and the Furious in 2001. The action-packed street racing movie introduced the world to the franchise’s main cast of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster. As the franchise grew, so did the core cast by acquiring stars like Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, and Dwayne Johnson.
The first few installments in The Fast Saga primarily focused on the world of street racing. The third movie, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, technically stood as a standalone movie when it first premiered but later installments tied into the narrative (and shifted its place in the timeline). When the franchise went through a soft reboot in 2009, the focus shifted back to Dom Toretto, Brian O’Connor, and Letty Ortiz as they and their respective crew started to get involved in worldwide heists, dangerous crime lords, and national terrorists.
The first spinoff of The Fast Saga officially premiered last August with the release of Hobbs & Shaw which expanded the journey of Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham’s characters. Next up will be F9, the movie that will force the crew to face off with Dom’s brother, Jakob (John Cena). It will also feature the return of the fan-favorite character, Han (Sung Kang), who was believed to be killed off during Tokyo Drift. The previously released films are available to stream online as well as various renting and purchasing options.
