Real architect simkoongarchitect has re-created the gorgeous mansion from Oscar-winning film Parasite in The Sims 4. Simkoongarchitect includes every room from the mansion and has created an interactive VR tour of their Sims mansion. Parasite is an award-winning South Korean film directed by Bong Joon-Ho that tells the tale of a Korean family struct by poverty who become parasitic to a wealthy family. The low-income family slowly infiltrates the mansion the wealthy family resides in by taking up different jobs the family needs, such as tutors, drivers, and live-in maids.

According to the forum Destructoid, simkoongarchitect (an actual architect) re-created the mansion from Parasite in The Sims 4. Simkoongarchitect made a 360 VR tour of their creation on YouTube, allowing viewers to interact with each room of the house shown throughout the film, including the eerie basement from the third act. Throughout the video, viewers can’t help but feel like they’re caught in the movie, with unsettling music and sounds that follow them as they tour the mansion. The architect also added all the details of the film, including pictures drawn by the children, posters they had in their rooms, and art the parents had hanging around the house.

The Sims 4 has been a hot place for developers to create new and exciting things based on pop culture. People have created weirdly popular micro-homes for their Sims to live in, as well as modeling their Sims off superheroes and celebrities. Under the title “Real Architect Builds,” simkoongarchitect created a number of VR tours like their Parasite mansion, based on other homes from pop-culture, such as the different castles from Disney’s Frozen.

With the possibility of a new Sims game on the horizon, The Sims 4 is currently the best game simkoongarchitect could have used to create his masterpiece. Viewers can easily imagine a Sim walk by and sit on the couch where the family splurged on snacks and alcohol during the film’s climax. Players could even create sim versions of the two families and the basement-dwelling husband. While the mansion looks identical to the film, it’s undeniably still firmly-set in The Sims’ unique world. The Sims 4 is available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Windows, and Mac.
